How can I take online payments, do I need anything else?

We will take care of setting up your payment gateway for you so that you can instantly take payments when a customer makes an order. If you already have a web site that is selling products, we can usually integrate your existing payment gateway into your new site.

If you haven't had one set up before, we usually suggest using PayPal. They are good value for money, especially when you first start out, as there isn't a monthly fee - you just pay a small fee to PayPal when you make a sale. If you already have a PayPal account we can integrate the payment system into the site for you or we can set up a new account for you and integrate this into the site.

How long will it take to build my web site?

Once you decide to go ahead, we will put a draft design together for you within seven days. If you like the design, we then go ahead and build the web site for you which usually takes 14 days. If you didn't like the first design for any reason then we would create another, and another, and another... we keep doing this until we find one that you're really happy with but usually we have everything up-and-running for you within three weeks.

At this stage, the products then need to be put into the shop. This is very simple to do and usually you would want to do this but if you'd prefer us to do it for you, just let us know and we can take care of it for you.

I already have a web site, what happens to that whilst the new one is being built?

Nothing. We leave this in place until the new site is ready. We build the new site on our test server which only you and us have access to. Once the site is built, we send you the link so that you can check that you are happy with everything. Once you give us the 'ok', we take down your old web site and replace it with the new one. The switch usually only takes 10 minutes.

Once the new site is live, we monitor it for a week and make sure that everything is working as expected including running full tests to make sure that orders can be accepted, payments are taken and order notifications are received.
